Anubias nana Golden Aquarium Plant
Anubias nana Golden is an attractive aquatic plant known for its beautiful golden-green leaves and easy-care nature. As a golden variety of the popular Anubias nana, it adds a bright, natural touch to planted aquariums, aquascapes, and terrariums. Its hardy nature and ability to adapt to a wide range of water conditions make it an excellent choice for beginners and experienced aquarium hobbyists in Sri Lanka.
Care Guide for Anubias nana Golden
Anubias nana Golden grows best when its rhizome is attached to driftwood, rocks, or other suitable hard surfaces. Avoid burying the rhizome in aquarium substrate, as this can cause it to rot.
Provide low to medium lighting to help maintain healthy leaves and reduce the risk of algae growth. Regular fertilisation can support healthy plant development, while additional CO₂ is optional. Because this plant grows slowly, avoid excessive lighting and maintain good aquarium water quality.
Propagation is simple: carefully divide the rhizome into sections, ensuring that each section has healthy roots and leaves, then attach the divisions to suitable surfaces.
