This plant is rough and rugged but still has a sweet looking stem and leaves. This is a stout little plant.

I have watched this plant send off new growth in a very short amount of time.  I recommend Hygrophila corymbosa ‘Parawitota’ to anyone needing a unique contrast to their background or mid ground.

Under higher light this plant will even give you a nice vain of red at the top of it. (We have seen it get a redish hue to the top of it)

While I don’t know your fish. If you can get this thing pinned down in the gravel I don’t think cichlids would be able to mess with it much as it has such strong leaves and stems
